40. Black Creek

The Black Creek Trail (3551) once traveled through a variety of old-growth types and glaciated landforms before terminating at Waldo Lake, a world-class wonder. Unfortunately, initial reports state that the trail was heavily impacted by the Cedar Creek Fire (2022) and the old growth suffered significant mortality. The trail and access road are still closed and it will likely be several years before the trail is cleared and reopened.
